Fruit Fly Trap

Fruit Fly trap is intended for use to trap Melon fly (Bactrocera Cucurbitae) in cultivation of many crops such as cucumbers, gherkin gourds such as bottle, ridge, bitter, snake gourds etc., melons, pumpkins, tomatoes, watermelon, zucchini etc. and Oriental Fruit fly (Bactrocera Dorsalis ) in cultivation of many crops such as avocado, citrus, guava,  mango, papaya, passion fruit etc.

Flies enter the trap through the openings in the end caps in response to the pheromone that hangs inside the trap. Once inside the trap, they remain held by the pheromone attraction and by the light entering through the transparent center cage. When exhausted they fall and die.
